UV-Enhanced Coating — Ocean Color Instrument (OCI)

UV-Enhanced Coating — Ocean Color Instrument (OCI)

The Ocean Color Instrument (OCI) is the primary instrument on NASA's Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE) mission observatory, developed at GSFC. OCI is a hyperspectral scanning radiometer that measures spectral radiances from the ultraviolet to the shortwave infrared, using a rotating telescope to scan the ocean surface for advanced ocean color, cloud and aerosol science. ZeCoat's protected silver coating for OCI is designed to be reflective above 95% from 340 nm to 2260 nm.
